Biafra:Dullard Buhari is a Boko Haram sympathiser, US foreign policy expert tells Obama

Foreign policy expert Richard Grenell has warned the Obama administration to “wake up” to the growing threat of Nigeria turning into an Islamic state, leading to other African nations also capitulating to Muslim extremists.
In an opinion column for The Washington Times, Grenell revealed that a leading candidate in the Nigerian general election later this month is a sympathiser of the Boko Haram terror group and plans to install strict Sharia Law if he’s elected.
General Mohammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress is facing off against incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan on March 28 in the African continent’s most populous country.
Buhari has spoken defensively about Boko Haram, even though the evil group has kidnapped and enslaved hundreds of young girls. And he has been personally been selected by the terrorists to lead its negotiations with the government.
“Western foreign policy observers pre-occupied with the rise of ISIS in the Middle East should wake up to the reality unfolding in Nigeria,” wrote Grenell, a former spokesman for four United States Ambassadors to the United Nations, most recently Ambassador Zal Khalilzad.
“Buhari’s election as head of state would be a disaster for Africa. It would also signal trouble for the West’s fight against the Islamic State (ISIS) and terrorism throughout the Middle East. The decision by the 73 million registered Nigerian voters could have a profound impact on the future of Africa.”
Buhari even appears to be advocating violence while pushing for the moral and religious code of Sharia Law, according to Grenell.
“I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria,” Buhari said. “God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country.”
But Grenell wrote, “Agitation? Is this an indication that Mr. Buhari supports violence because the end goal of the terrorist attacks throughout Nigeria and Africa is an Islamic state? It is a legitimate question that should be asked by leaders of the Obama administration.”
Boko Haram, which has pledged its support to ISIS, is based in northern Nigerian and hopes to rule the country with Sharia Law.
The group, which recently killed 54 people in Nigeria by using four suicide bombers, is also taking terrorist actions in neighboring Chad, Niger and Cameroon to force them to adopt an Islamic state as well.
Grenell warned that Nigeria could become “a tipping point” in Africa in the same way that Tunisia kicked off the Arab Spring in the Middle East.
“The West, and specifically the Obama Administration, needs to wake up to the growing problem,” wrote Grenell. “The Nigerian economy has been growing faster than South Africa’s. Imagine what Nigeria could do for Africa if it was also free of Boko Haram’s violence.
“The Obama administration should be doing more to ensure Africa’s most populous country doesn’t slip away.”

TINUBU IN REGRET FOR HELPING BUHARI TO BECOME NIGERIA’S PRESIDENT – (MUST READ)

The way it was planned is not the way it is executed, For the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) LLC, these are trying times. These times are sour and very discomforting. The times are painful and full of regrets. The “greatest political strategist of our generation” as his employees and ardent supporters would like to<<<<
refer to him is reeling from debilitating political injuries. There is gnashing of teeth and mopping of lips in the ABAT LLC. Even, for those who are not fans of the mercantilism made for profit political outfit called ABAT LLC, the garish groans oozing out of Bourdillon has been eliciting pores of pity and chasms of empathy.
The Chairman and the CEO of ABAT LLC is no other person than Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu himself. He has been a lonely man in recent days. No place could be lonelier than a wilderness, especially political wilderness for someone who lives and breathes politics. From the look of things, the “greatest political strategist of our generation,” has strategized himself out of relevance and serious contention in the political dynamics of the All Progressive Congress, a political party that was his brainchild to a very great extent.
Through overconfidence, carelessness, naivety, contempt of and for history, disrespect of elders and odious knack for cold-blooded acts of political perfidies, he has strategized himself into trouble waters. The trouble waters do not seem to be ordinary, they are hot trouble waters. And because they are hot trouble waters, they burn and hurt very badly. To his credit, he is bearing his cross very silently and stoically. He is taking the hand that fate has dealt him. He is licking his wounds in secrecy while putting up appearances of a satisfied and satiated political godfather. He is pretending that all is well when all is out of sync. He has become emblematic of the good old saying, “Not all that glitters is gold!”
The present administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari would never have seen the light of the day if not for Asiwaju Tinubu. His contributions in so many ways are public secrets. It is not something one should dwell over again in this piece. One is just giving this a mention because it is very telling when someone of Tinubu’s caliber, a political godfather of no small means, one who has made and unmade many political careers and ambitions, has been reduced to political invalid. And from the feelers that are out there, like the Americans would often say, “he ain’t seen nothing yet!” The extent of humiliation that Asiwaju Tinubu has been subjected to by the Buhari Presidency he empowered could only be fathomed when it is realized that Tinubu could not boast of any candidate in the cabinet of President Buhari.
From Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, one of the sworn enemies of Tinubu was appointed to his chagrin. He could not stop it despite all his efforts. In Ogun State, Anambra born Yoruba retired General Olusegun Obasanjo – Onyejekwe, nominated the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun. From Oyo State, President Buhari chose the gubernatorial candidate of his political Party, CPC, in the previous election, Alhaji Bayo Shitu as Minister. From Ekiti State, former Governor Kayode Fayemi, the man with a conundrum of fraud allegations around his neck and ankles, who was another beneficiary of Tinubu’s godfatherism went behind him to ingratiate himself with Buhari to get a Ministerial appointment, again to the chagrin of Tinubu.
In Osun State, when Raufu Aregbesola’s second term election was on the ropes, Tinubu went to prostrate to former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola to get support for his protégé. The promise given to Oyinlola was to give him the Ministerial slot of Osun State. And indeed his name was sent to Aso Rock. This was until another powerful politician from Osun State who had stones to grind with Oyinlola went there behind Tinubu to complain to President Buhari. President Buhari then asked the powerful politician to bring in substitution and the rest is history. Ondo State has never been under the influence of Tinubu and he had no say whatsoever on who was nominated. Mr. Claudius Daramola used his Northern connections from his school days in Sokoto, Zaria and Jos to gain the confidence of President Buhari.
The power base of Tinubu is supposedly the Southwest States. For the untutored and the gullible, Tinubu is still the most powerful politician in this hemisphere. But for those who understand the dynamics of politics, Tinubu is fast becoming what the Yoruba calls “agbunrin esi.” While things might still take a new turn, which indicators are at variance with, it is evident that the once stronghold of Tinubuism is fast dissipating if it has not already dissipated. What is currently subsisting is a star that is gradually dimming as a result of uncouth politicking inebriated with absence of etiquette and basic values that civilized humanity has come to hold dear.
But this is not an unexpected outcome for a for money/profit mercantilist organization like ABAT LLC dubiously appareled in political garb. An organization that is founded on the sole principle of money making through the appropriation of political power for individual ends as opposed to the peoples’ interests and the advancement of the society. The individualism that forms the basic tenet of Tinubuism and the operational philosophy of ABAT LLC is functionally related to the series of treacheries that define its character and form the seeds of its destruction that is presently unraveling.
The apogee of Tinubuism was 2012. In the years leading to that point, Tinubuism was riding the waves. It had displaced and replaced the original Afenifere leadership and branched out to sponsor and control Afenifere Renewal Group. Tinubu had undercut the Alliance of Democracy, betraying those who paved the path to Lagos governorship victory for him and became the godfather of Action Congress. He deceived the former Vice President Abubakar Atiku and dangled the AC presidential ticket in his face only to sell him out at the last minute. He repeated the same perfidy with Nuhu Ribadu who became so frustrated he had to go and join PDP.
Before that time he had faced down the political vampire called Olusegun Mathew Okikiola Obasanjo-Onyejekwe. Tinubu fought Obasanjo-Onyejekwe to a standstill and refused to be bullied. He was the lone survivor of all the AD governors during the reelection of 2003. With his AC and control of Lagos, he had strategically conquered Osun State, followed by Ekiti State. Oyo and Ogun were later to be added to the price. The success was pulsating. He imposed governors and senators across the land. He imposed members of Federal House of Representatives. He disregarded the grassroots and the feelings of the voters who did not seem to have a better alternative to the PDP as he forced a lot of unpleasant candidates down the throats of the Yoruba voters.
He began to feel his own sense of invulnerability. He began to see himself as something other than ordinary. He felt and began to act like a god. His confidence became imbued with ebullience to the point that he publicly insulted all the Yoruba Obas calling them unprintable names. He was walking in the clouds when he liked and walked on water when he preferred. He was riding high beyond his own expectations. He has found himself where he did not expect to be. Tinubuism became the domineering philosophy on the political landscape of Yorubaland with pockets of spineless opposition here and there.
When Ondo State resisted the advance of Tinubuism with the help of Dr. Segun “Iroko” Mimiko, in 2012, Tinubuism in the Southwest started receding like a jaded and fading “Ankara cloth.” From that year, cracks in Tinubuism began to show for those perspicacious enough. At that point in time, the crises between him and Kayode Fayemi had begun to fester to where Tinubu decided to raise a protest candidate against him for re-election. The crisis led to the weakening of the APC that Governor Ayodele Fayose came to exploit to kick the party out of Ekiti State.
Tinubu’s woes became metastasized by Aregbesola’s messing up of Osun State to the best of his ability. He did everything to please his godfather. He even destroyed historical schools allegedly to pave way for the ever-expanding business of his mentor in defiance to the crying and wailing of the people of Osun State. Governor Abiola Ajimobi was glad to be part of the ACN but did his best to maintain his independence. He refused to lick the boots of Tinubu and was not enthused about paying homage at Bourdillon. Governor Ibikunle Amosun also did not seem to enjoy bootlicking. He maintained his dignified distance from Tinubuism while working diplomatically with Tinubuists. Fashola was getting into trouble in Lagos for trying to be his own man. It was the same thing that got Fayemi into trouble in Ekiti.
This was the point at which the need to get rid of the hapless President Goodluck Jonathan became imperative. The “greatest political strategist of our generation” had the legitimate ambition to become Vice President. He could not trust former Vice President Abubakar Atiku as the flag bearer of the APC. The fact that Tinubu had previously betrayed Atiku after Atiku had done him the biggest favor of his career was scary to him.

He was afraid of payback. But Atiku was not and still is not that kind of a man. In spite of all his failings, Atiku has a big heart. Regardless, the sinner would always run when no one is in pursuit. So in Buhari lies Tinubu’s alternative. Buhari too had some hard feelings. The hard feelings had been about alleged act of treachery on the part of Tinubu. But Buhari was willing to be patient to get what he wanted.
Tinubu schemed. Buhari too schemed. As soon as Buhari got elected, he declared “he belong to everybody and belong to nobody.” He courted all those who disliked Tinubu and made them his close friends. He sidelined Tinubu and turned him into a spectator as the administration took off. When Rotimi Amaechi insulted Tinubu at one of their meetings, Buhari did not dissuade him. He allowed him to do so without let or hindrance. Though Nasir El-Rufai brought Amaechi to Lagos to prostrate and apologize to Tinubu in Bourdillon, it was to ensure the Southwest votes and the victory of Buhari.
Buhari, without engaging in a public fight with Tinubu reduced Tinubu to a spectator without any influence in this administration. Not only did Tinubuists lose the Senate Presidency, but they also lost the Speakership of the Federal House of Representatives along with some principal offices. The Tinubuists have no one in the cabinet. The Vice President Yemi Osinbajo nominated by Tinubu has been turned to an ordinary passenger by the Buhari handlers. He is an outside insider in the administration. Osinbajo has been locked out of security meetings and made to understand that he does not belong. Though, this has been denied to save Osinbajo, and by implication, Tinubu his mentor, any embarrassment. But the truth is Osinbajo was actually locked out.
When Tinubu nominated Mr. Femi Falana for the position of Attorney General of the Federation, there was a groundswell of opposition not just from Tinubu’s enemies in the Southwest but also his detractors from across other regions. This was not because Falana had so many enemies or was unqualified, but it was simply because he was nominated by Tinubu. If Falana had pursued that office on his own without the albatross called Tinubu around his neck, he might have succeeded. Everything Tinubu touched became ashes. Everyone he supported became a loser. It became a big problem for ambitious politicians to identify publicly with Tinubu at the national level. Everyone began to be diplomatic in the manner and way they distance themselves from the God of Bourdillon.
Across the Southwest, the only governor still faithful to Tinubu is the man called Aregbesola. Yet he has more than anyone inflamed hatred for Tinubu in Yorubaland because of his incompetence and mismanagement of Osun State. Already, Governor Akin Ambode is complaining in private. Hopefully the bubble would not burst into the open. A mention of Tinubu’s name now is met with hisses. And some curses in most places. Now with the existential crises facing Nigerians across the country, Buhari has become unpopular. For every minute that Nigerians remain in darkness because of lack of electricity they rain curses on Buhari.
For every additional naira they have to pay for petrol they rain curses on Buhari. For every additional naira Nigerians have to pay for a “congo” of gaari, rice, beans or dawa, they rain curses on Buhari. This is more especially so when majority of Nigerian workers have not received salaries for several months. As for the people of Southwest, every time they rain curses on Buhari, they have never forgotten to rain curses on Tinubu and all those who helped him to impose Buhari on Nigeria.
In the crannies of Bourdillon, there is bounteous regrets and moping. There is gnashing of teeth, mopping of lips and zapping of noses. There is finger biting and sweat wiping. There is a nagging disbelief that all this could happen.
There is a lot of pinching to nudge themselves into reality if this is a dream. But all this could have been prevented if they had listened to advice; if they had taken history more seriously and learnt from it. It is evident that the Tinubuists have miscalculated. They have not only miscalculated, they have been inflicted with double jeopardy. The first jeopardy is that they lost out on everything and have no substantive post in this administration. The second jeopardy is that Buhari is not performing and this has made Tinubuists objects of passionate anger, deep disgust and rueful curses from amongst the people.
Some have insisted that no one should grudge all those who benefited from Tinubu only to betray him. They pointed out that the old guard Afenifere who paved the path to Alausa government house for Tinubu was betrayed by him too.
It was noted that other than the betrayal of the old guard Afenifere who have been subjected to serious campaign of malice from Tinubuists, Tinubu also betrayed a lot of others for his own personal benefit. Victims of Tinubu’s political treachery were said to include former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, President Goodluck Jonathan (from whom he allegedly got so many sweet business deals), President Obasanjo-Onyejekwe (himself a born-again traitor), and President Buhari himself among several others. All these are being contextualized in the aphorism “He who lives by the sword dies by the sword.” By implication, “He who lives by treachery dies by treachery.”
“In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility – I welcome it.”
– John F. Kennedy, in his Inaugural Address January 20, 1961

Fayose Reveals Why Buhari Has Refused To Release Nnamdi Kanu [DETAILS]

Fayose Reveals Why Buhari Has Refused To Release Nnamdi Kanu [DETAILS]
Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s condemnation of Sunday’s terrorist attack on the Grand Bassam Resort in Cote D’Ivoire as a display of hypocrisy and an evident demonstration of his insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians.
Fayose wondered why President Buhari chose to keep quiet for two days after Fulani herdsmen murdered over 300 people in Benue, but immediately reacted to the killing of 16 people in Cote D’Ivoire.
In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor said: “If President Buhari could afford to pick his phone and call the Ivorian President, Alassane Ouattara, immediately after the attack, Nigerians must ask the President why he kept mute for days over the Fulani herdsmen massacre of over 300 Agatu people of Benue State, the Mile 12 Lagos killings and wanton destruction of properties among others.”
“From all indications, our President has abandoned governance. The only thing going on in the minds of those running the affairs of this country in Abuja is how to entrench themselves in power by crushing anyone perceived as capable of hindering them.”
“That is the reason they are using the Department of State Services (DSS) to harass and intimidate us here in Ekiti, under flimsy excuses like investigating members of the State House of Assembly for alleged forgery of tax certificates when the Ekiti State Government, which issued the certificates have not complained to the DSS that its tax certificates were forged by the lawmakers.
“That is also the reason the President keeps showing his anger against Nnamdi Kanu and his Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) agitators while the same President has failed to approach the economy and insecurity, especially the Fulani herdsmen menace with the same level of anger.”
“Even when their own Information Minister, Lai Mohammed has told Nigerians that the economy has gone out of the hands of the President, they keep using anti-corruption fight to persecute opposition elements both in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and their own party, All Progressives Congress (APC), forgetting that fighting corruption is not a substitute for putting food on the table of Nigerians.”
“The President must therefore be made to realise that Nigerians are suffering, with price of foodstuffs skyrocketing. The economy is in comatose, Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen are killing people. President Buhari must learn to begin to cry over Nigeria’s problems first before going to other countries to cry over their problems for them.”

The Sole Reason Buhari Want Power Is To Wipe-Out Biafrans From Nigeria.- Bishop Okonkwor

The prophetic revelation I had concerning President Buhari of Nigeria. Greetings to  you all .This message  of  God almighty  first came to me on the 25th  of December 2015, I was mandated by God  to tell President  Buhari of Nigeria this prophecies. First God  said Buhari  has boasted in secrets of his intentions to  wipe  out Igbo’s by planting  soldiers  all over the  Igbo  land and also  with the intention to use  Biafra protest to wipe  out Igbos because  of  their intention to  pull out from  Nigeria. God told  me  that Buhari  came  to power  in  Nigeria with  the  spirit of Adolph  Hitler and  with a  mission of  killing the  Igbos  as Adolph  Hitler  killed over  6 million  Jews.

Buhari
Buhari
The Almighty  God  told me   that  because he has   boasted  with some  foreign  powers that are  Islamic  in nature that  he  will raise  an  internal matters  that  will crush his  Government  as from  March,  2016.The Buhari  led  Governmet will  be  by then  but  will exist as if  he  is  no more.God also  revealed  to me  where  Buhari is  sitting  on a black  table  and  Iasked the  spirit  of  God,why  is he sitting  on  the black  table?

God told  me  that his government  has  been darkened  by  the angels  of  heaven. And either  he  rules with  blindness  or with  a  condition that  he  cannot be able  to  perform his  official  duties.I began  to  pray again  and  to ask  God  why such  a  terrible situation.
The  spirit of  God told  me  to tell  Buhari that  he will not  let  him  tolive  to fulfill his  evil plansagainst  His  people, the Igbos  and against  the body of  Christ in  Nigeria.God expressly  revealed  to me  that  Buhari  has two  demonic agendas  given tp  him  from the  pit  of hell. The first  agenda is  to pull down  the  churches in  Nigeria and  to stop advancement  of  the gospel  work  from the North  to  all parts  of  Nigeria in  general. The second  agenda is  to ipe  out  Igbos and  to  close down  all gigantic  businesses in  Nigeria  and hotels  been  owned  by  the  Igbos.God told  me he  is the  African  Hitler as  Adolph  Hitler is of  Europe.
The spirit  of  God also  told  me to warn  Nigeria Vice  President, Professor  Obasanjo that  he  will pull  him  out of  the  government in a  mysterious  way because  he  is an  unprofitable servant  to the  GOD  ALMIGHTY.God also  told   me that  he will  personally open  up  a lot  of things  .President Buhari  has  covered under  his  carpet while  he  is busy  looking  for people  more  innocent  than  him  to  probe and  prosecute.God almighty  told  me that  people  shall run away  in  mass out  of  Nigeria is  when  he  will  begin  his  judgement  against  President Buhari  Of  Nigeria.

The Almighty  Father  also told  me  that Buhari’s war  against  the igbos  is  a divine  mandate  given to  him  by the  heaven  for the  actualization   of Biafra as  a  nation and  for  wiping out  Buhari  and his men  as  pharaoh ,the king  of   Egypt was  wiped  off with  his  men in  the  Red sea as  they  were busy pursuing  the  sons of  Jacob.God told  me  to tell Buhari  that   the blood  of  Igbos he  shed  during the  Nigeria  civil war  is  still crying unto  him  in heavens  and  he will  not  wait any longer  to  take full  vengeance  on Nigeria for  the  blood of  Igbos  massacred in  northern  Nigeria from 1966 progrom  to  1967-1970 civil  war.
There  shall  be more  deadly  terrorist sponsored  groups  emerging from  northern  Nigeria with  a  divine mandate  to  pursue Buhari  out of  power .Igbos will  not fight  Buhari but  God said, He  will  use internal force  from  his own   home  and among  his  people to  crush  him and  his  government to  pieces.God bless  you  for reading . You  will  surely live  to  witness the  programs unfolding.

Thanks  and be  highly  blessed for reading through this message.

Nigeria will keep faith with Western Sahara’ self-determination bid – Says Buhari

Buhari DARES Moroccan authorities  with his support for the Self-Determination of Western Sahara . Will Morocco back Biafra?
General Muhammadu Buhari is angering authorities in Morocco, over his overt support for the Independence of Western Sahara. Buhari has been unrelenting and unequivocal of his support for the determination of Western Sahara and Palestine. This is surprising considering his stance on Biafra, which he had openly declared he will never allow to gain independence.
Buhari on Friday assured that Nigeria will stand with the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, SADR, in line with several resolutions of the African Union, AU, on the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence.

The Western Sahara is a disputed territory in the Maghreb region of North Africa, bordered by Morocco to the north, Algeria to the northeast, Mauritania to the east and south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. It is one of the most sparsely populated territories in the world, mainly consisting of desert flatlands. Its population estimated at just over 500,000 is equivalent to few local government areas in Biafra.   Occupied by Spain in the late 19th century, Western Sahara has been on the United Nations list of non-self-governing territories since 1963 after a Moroccan demand. In 1975, Spain relinquished the administrative control of the territory to a joint administration by Morocco (which had formally claimed the territory since 1957) and Mauritania. A war erupted between those countries and the Sahrawi national liberation movement, the Polisario Front, which proclaimed the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) with a government-in-exile in Tindouf, Algeria. Mauritania withdrew in 1979, and Morocco eventually secured de facto control of most of the territory, including all the major cities and natural resources.

Since a United Nations-sponsored ceasefire agreement in 1991, two thirds of the territory (including most of the Atlantic coastline) has been under de facto control by Morocco and the remainder by the SADR, strongly backed by Algeria. Countries such as the United States and Russia have taken a generally ambiguous and neutral position on each side's claims, and have pressed both parties to agree on a peaceful resolution. Both Morocco and Polisario have sought to boost their claims by accumulating formal recognition, essentially from African, Asian, and Latin American states in the developing world. Morocco has won recognition or support for its position from several African governments and from most of the Arab League.

This is where Buhari is incurring the wrath of Morocco. While receiving the Minister of Foreign Affairs of SADR, Mohammed Salem Ould Salek, who visited him at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa as Special Envoy of President Mohammed Abdelaziz of SADR, Buhari declared his unrelenting support.
He pledged that outstanding issues on self-determination for the country would be scrupulously attended to, Buhari noted that: “the issue first came up when I was in office as military head of state. After I left government, Nigeria remained steadfast on it.
“In my maiden outing at the UN General Assembly last September, the issue of Sahrawi was in my speech. You have no cause to doubt our commitment. We stand with our African Union colleagues on this issue.
“Nigeria will maintain focus till everything is finally resolved positively,” he told Salek.

The Special Envoy said his country would never forget the role Nigeria and its then military head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari played in recognizing his country in 1984, when it sought self-determination from Morocco.
“It paved the way for the UN to adopt several key resolutions on Western Sahara, elaborating a peace plan. History is now repeating itself, as you are the President of Nigeria at a time the Sahrawi issue is being put on the front burner again.’’
Salek told the President that his country needed a special push from Nigeria again, as it received in 1984, “to accelerate matters”.
He stressed that Nigeria helped a lot of African countries achieve independence, noting that SADR is the only pending matter on the continent.
A statement issued by Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, which disclosed this, reports that the SADR had, since its inception, been recognised by over 80 countries around the world, and in 1984 it became a full member of the OAU and is a founding member of the AU.

Will Morocco play a fast one on Buhari by backing Biafran Self-Determination? The ball is rolling in the court of the Moroccan ambassador to Nigeria.

Boko Haram Still Hold Territories in Nigeria - US Commander Counters Buhari

  1. US Africa Command (US AFRICOM) Commander David Rodgriguez, has countered President Muhammadu Buhari, saying Boko Haram still holds several territories in Northern Nigeria, ThisDay reports.

He spoke on Tuesday in response to a question during testimony before the US Senate Armed Services Committee reviewing fiscal year 2017 defence budget.

His comment about Boko Haram was in response to a question by Senator Angus King of Maine who asked : “Is Al-Shabaab and Boko Haram growing, are they adding members? I know they don’t hold territory, are they adding areas of influence?” to which Rodriguez replied, “actually sir, Boko Haram does hold some significant territory in Northern Nigeria as do Al-Shabaab in limited areas of Somalia.”

He added that recently there is a “tactical upswing” in Al-Shabaab’s operations in Somali but did not elaborate on Boko Haram’s operations, adding in his written testimony to the Senate Committee that containing and degrading the ISIL-affiliated Boko Haram remains one of AFRICOM’s top priority.

“We are watching carefully for signs that the threat posed by Boko Haram to US persons is growing as a result of the group’s alignment with ISIL,” Rodriguez added.

Chocking!! I Wont Tolerate Biafra -- Buhari

Buhari-APC_3

President Buhari who has been nicknamed by some Nigerians as “The Travelling President gave an interview to Al Jazeera during his last visit to Qatar
Here are the Highlights of what he said:
  • On the economy he said, “We were unable to diversify our
economy, hence we are much more disadvantaged by the lower oil prices”.
  • On OPEC, he said, “Nigeria will make the necessary sacrifice to remain in OPEC.”
  • On devaluation of the naira he said, Nigeria imports everything including rice and tooth picks, “it cannot afford to devalue its currency. Buhari said further, “If it is against our national interest, why can’t we go against the IMF advice?”
  • On Boko Haram the president accepted that Boko Haram remain active and can strike at will but he said he has not failed in his bid to defeat Boko Haram
  • Responding to question about how he plans to deal with the issue of Biafra, Buhari said, Biafra quest is a joke he added “At least two millions Nigerians were killed in the Biafra war. And for somebody to wake up, may be they weren’t born. Looking for Biafra after two millions people were killed, they are joking with the security and Nigeria won’t tolerate Biafra.”
  • But pledge support for Palestinian State , now who do you think 'President Buhari'  is???

BIAFRA: BUHARI PANICs, SEEKS TO BLOCK NNAMDI KANU'S RELEASE AT ECOWAS COURT.

. The Nigerian government plans have been thrown into a complete disarray as the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) drags it to sub-regional court to press for his release from detention.
irked by such move by Kanu, sources in the Nigerian seat of power revealed to DailyGlobeWatch on the condition of anonymity that Buhari backed by his advisers have urged the Nigeria's strongman to remain firm and unbowed saying they stand behind him to have the detained leader confined in prison.
In a related development, our source apparently sympathetic with Nnamdi Kanu says there are ill-conceived plans by some members of OHANEZE NDIGBO to frustrate Kanu's bid to secure freedom at the regional court having being financially induced by the Nigerian government.
Said our source, ''Kanu's enemies are from his own people, some shameless members of the OHANEZE NDIGBO who have been coming here to fraternize with 'oga' to detain and slam him a life sentence''.
''I have never seen this huge act of betrayal by a particular tribe. If I may ask, why are his people like that? Some members of the OHANEZE have been financially induced to testify falsely against Kanu at the ECOWAS court'', our source added.
In a frantic move to have Kanu nailed, the Nigerian authorities, our source revealed have had the witnesses financially induced to testify against Kanu.''
His words, ''They would have no option this time but to appear before the ECOWAS court as all plans have been concluded to have them under subpoena to appear, Kanu's enemies are from among his own people''
It would be recalled, however, that Nnamdi Kanu had before now been granted bail by Nigerians courts sitting in Abuja, a move which was blocked by the Nigerian government all in a resolute bid to have the Biafran activist remain in jail. Source: http://dailyglobewatch.

Biafra: London protesters turn Buhari into a bag of nerves

The awesome protest in London

Agitation for a free Biafra is no longer just demonstrations; it is now taking a new dimension and turning into what some people have described as celebrations and carnivals. They point to the last two protests in Italy and London to buttress their point.
The Biafra Telegraph learnt that those two international protests by Biafrans – in Italy, last Sunday, February 28; and yesterday in London Wednesday, March 2 – were so successful and effective that they have turned the African Hitler, Muhammadu Buhari, into a bag of nerves.
Hardcore Biafrans at the protest
The London protests yesterday, which was led by Uche Mefor, the Deputy Leader of IPOB and Radio Biafra, came in two waves; one hit the British Parliament, and the other hit the Nigerian High Commission (Embassy). Huge, ecstatic and excited crowd of Biafrans with Biafran flags, placards, and array of beautiful colours, brightened and lightened up London streets on the day.

No wonder report reaching The Biafra Telegraph revealed that Nigerian seat of power is no longer at ease with the protests. After Buhari’s government tried to jam Radio Biafra and to buy up its signals carrier – Satlinks – and failed, he had promised to neutralize Biafrans; but now, from all indications, it has not worked out for him. Developments have shown that the more he tried to contain the Biafrans the more they spread out from more dangerous angles.

Yesterday’s protests of Wednesday, March 2, was successful as Biafrans came out with so much singing and dancing; and ecstatic speeches that “wowed” the public. The protesting Biafrans were eventually joined by British Member of Parliament (MP) Angela Rayner, who was seen kneeling with the people and hugging them in love.
When it was time for her to speak, she did not mince words: “I will speak on behalf of myself as a member of Parliament, what I will say to you is that I love everybody and I think that what fills my heart for your love is that in spite of what has happened, you people have protested in a good way; in a Christian way and have tried to raise your issues with Italy.”
Rayner: Kneeling with Biafrans
Continuing, she said she had referred the Biafran case to Amnesty International, the world renowned human rights group, which did not waver in taking up the case. Rayner also said that she would never relent in using everything at her disposal to work for the Biafrans, and then urged the people not to relent in their agitation because it was for a good and noble cause.
“Keep speaking out; keep shouting, and keep hope with your course because it is a good one; it is a true one, and hopefully; God willing, one day you will get justice”
Emma Nmezu, Attorney at Law in the United Kingdom, who is also one of the two official Spokespersons of IPOB worldwide, told her that Biafrans were peaceful people, “but get disappointed that Britain is supporting (radical) Islam”. He said he has often wondered whether Britain was a “Christian country or if it is Islamic”. He however thanked Rayner and assured her that Biafrans love her.
Colourful Biafrans in high spirits
When Emeka Onyebuchi, Coordinator of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the United Kingdom spoke to The Biafra Telegraph, he said the demonstrations have assumed a new dimension in which Biafrans now look forward to every demonstration day “which is now becoming more than a carnival”. He said it was getting easier to mobilize Biafrans for the protests.

Speaking further, he said that Buhari thought that by holding Nnamdi Kanu captive that Biafrans and Biafra agitation would be neutralized, but did not know that it would amount putting fuel on the fire. “What he has done is rather bringing Biafrans together for special bonding” he added.

Buhari Visits Nigeria! Nigerians Mock Buhari over Bagpipers’ welcome for his 'State Visit' to Nigeria from Qatar

Buhari Visits Nigeria! Nigerians Mock Buhari over Bagpipers’ welcome for his 'State Visit' to Nigeria from Qatar
Nigerians have continued to mock President Muhammadu Buhari over the guard of honour mounted by a contingent of bagpipers ostensibly drawn from the military.

The dozens of bagpipers, men and women all dressed like Scots in plaid shorts, rather than skirts wearing berets and boots in a presidential reception for Buhari who has being globetrotting in cash strapped Nigeria, has left Nigerians reeling.
Kayode Ajulo, former National Secretary of the Labour Party and an Abuja-based lawyer, said: “When you're in an Air Conditioner powered room, you tend to forget how hot it is outside. That's exactly how it is with our leaders, President Buhari doesn't know how hot things are in Nigeria. He doesn't know our pain. He therefore needs our prayers.”
In another facebook post, Emmanuel Mc-Donalds Onuoha, wrote: President Buhari of Junketing Republic arriving Nigeria on an official working visit,” while Amonia Rita Stewart, was more direct, “What nonsense display is this?? Are we Scots??? Why all the razzmattaz??”

Yet another, Sola Kuti wrote: "This is how Emperor Buhari was received on his state visit to Nigeria yesterday. Na only visitor dem dey receive like this ooo.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Na real triumphant entry...Jesus would be jealous. A bloody emperor he is...this man na betta April Fool ooooo....because this just has to be a sick joke. Whenever you people are ready, you admit electing this hunter is the error of the century.
"Pls, take your time...no rush. I want you to suffer well first. Nigerians got PUNKED by APC."
Buhari since his inauguration as president on May 29 last year has travelled to more than 22 countries despite dire economic situation at home.

You are IGNORANT and cannot INTIMIDATE us. We shall always uphold the law - Nigeria's Chief Justice upbraids Buhari and APC

You are IGNORANT and cannot INTIMIDATE us. We shall always uphold the law - Nigeria's Chief Justice warns Buhari
The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Mahmud Mohammed, has upbraided at the All Progressives Congress (APC) and their leader Muhammadu Buhari for criticising recent supreme court judgements that went against the party. The CJN stated that those calling the judicial officers corrupt are inconsiderate and ignorant of how the judiciary operates.

Justice Mohammed, who is retiring from the judiciary after 38 years of service made the observation on Wednesday in Abuja while speaking at a special valedictory session held in his honour.
According to the CJN, such criticisms are made without due considerations of the law and the system of government in Nigeria.

He said that the judiciary is duty bound to act and would continue to act in accordance with the dictates of the law as it stands and not as its critics would want it to be.

“The Nigerian judiciary, though constantly striving to redress the wrongs and tilt the balance in favour of that which is right, has recently had to face the backlash of misguided opinions fashioned without due consideration of the law,” he said.
Lending his voice, to the position of the CJN, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Augustine Alegeh, also condemned in strong terms, the criticism of the Nigerian judiciary.
The NBA President also described the act as ‘a deliberate attempt to disparage the judiciary’. The Nigerian Bar Association  accused President Muhammadu Buhari of plotting to intimidate judiciary.
Speaking at the valedictory session of one of the CJN,  Alegeh  said the recent criticism directed at the judiciary over the current anti-corruption war was unwelcome.
“The NBA condemns in its entirety the generalisation and/or categorisation of the judiciary as being corrupt and an impediment to the zero corruption policy of the present administration.”
Alegeh stated that while there were bad eggs in the system, the categorization of the whole judiciary as corrupt was a strong misunderstanding and an effort to restrain the judiciary, which he said would not be accepted.
While the NBA president did not make a reference to President Buhari in his address, it was clear the leader of the country was one of those to which the comment was directed.
He also defined such comments on judicial system as one aimed at discouraging the judiciary.
According to him such intimidation remarks would be resisted.
Buhari recently disparaged the Nigerian judiciary in recent times. While speaking in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on January 31, Buhari stated that his biggest headache in the current fight against corruption in Nigeria remained the actions and inactions of the judiciary.

SBCHROs Names Nnamdi Kanu-A Prisoner-Of-Conscience. Condemns continued Persecution by Buhari and Bail Denial by Justice John Tsoho

SBCHROs Names Nnamdi Kanu-A Prisoner-Of-Conscience. Condemns continued Persecution by Buhari and Bail Denial by Justice John Tsoho
(Onitsha Nigeria, 30th January 2016)-The Southeast Based Coalition of Human Rights Organizations (SBCHROs), coordinated by Intersociety, and comprising the following ten rights organizations: International Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law (Intersociety), Anambra State Branch of the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), Center for Human Rights & Peace Advocacy (CHRPA), Human Rights Club (a project of LRRDC)(HRC), Forum for Justice, Equity & Defense of Human Rights (FJEDHR), Society Advocacy Watch Project (SPAW), Anambra Human Rights Forum (AHRF), Southeast Good Governance Forum (SGGF), International Solidarity for Peace & Human Rights Initiative (ITERSOLIDARITY) and Igbo Ekunie Initiative (pan Igbo rights advocacy group), have firmly resolved to name Citizen Nnamdi Kanu as a prisoner-of-conscience (POC).

For the fact that Citizen Nnamdi Kanu has never killed anybody  (use violence) or authorized anybody or group to kill (advocated for violence); for the fact that he was arrested and detained for 98 days without trial contrary to Sections 35 (4) (a) (right to personal liberty), 33 (right to life), 34 (right to dignity of human person), 36 (right to fair hearing)  and 41 (right freedom of movement) of the 1999 Constitution and Articles V,VI,VII and XII of the African Charter on Human & Peoples Rights (ratified and domesticated by Nigeria in 1983); for the fact that  the Nigerian authorities led by President Muhammadu Buhari have flouted with impunity and reckless abandon several court decisions bordering on protection and enforcement of these constitutional rights of the detained Prisoner-of-Conscience; for the fact that Citizen Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest and detention was politically motivated and ill-conceived; for the fact that he was arrested and detained and is being persecuted for his non violent political and social thoughts; and for the fact that the mind of the trial Judge; Hon Justice John Tsoho was possibly abused, biased and corrupted presidentially, leading to the Judge convicting Citizen Nnamdi Kanu before trial (his choice of words); upon which Citizen Kanu was denied his long awaited and deserved bail; Citizen Nnamdi Kanu eminently deserves the local and international status of a prisoner-of-conscience.
For the purpose of refreshing the minds of all and sundry particularly the Nigerian democratic forces, Prisoner of Conscience (POC) is a term coined by Peter Benenson; founder of Amnesty International, UK in a 28 May 1961 article (“the Forgotten Prisoners") published in the London Observer Newspaper. The term refers to anyone imprisoned because of their race, sexual orientation, religion, or political views; expressed or conducted non-violently or in peaceful manners. It also refers to those who have been imprisoned and/or persecuted for non-violent expression of their conscientiously held beliefs. Amnesty International, UK  regards  prisoners of conscience  as political and activist prisoners (non white collar or street criminal suspects) or jailed international or national citizens who have been jailed or imprisoned by repressive and suppressive political authorities because of their political, religious or other conscientiously-held beliefs, ethnic origin, sex, color, language, national or social origin, economic status, birth, sexual orientation or other status, provided that they are non violent and peaceful and have never sanctioned the opposite.
The Myanmar’s leading pro democracy activist and Nobel Laureate, Ms Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is one of the world’s recognized prisoners-of-conscienceand was an Amnesty International’s prisoner of conscience (POC)  from 1989-1995; 2000 to 2002; and 2003 to 2010. Though she is banned by her country’s repressive military rulers from standing for Myanmar’s presidency since 1988 when her National League for Democracy (NLD) was heading for a landslide victory before the country’s military junta struck and annulled same; but her campaigns for restoration of democracy, civil liberties and rule of law in Myanmar recently paid off leading to full return of democracy and inauguration of its first post military’s democratically elected parliament this 1stFebruary 2016. Though banned from holding presidency seat for now; but Ms Suu Kyi; 70, is expected to be President of her country by proxy with her NLD having won 80% of the parliamentary seats.
Beyond naming Citizen Nnamdi Kanu a prisoner-of-conscience; plans by SBCHROs are also  on the way to formally write and appeal to the likes of Amnesty International, UK,  the Human Rights Watch, USA and the Society for the Threatened People, Germany, etc to also adopt Citizen Nnamdi Kanu asa prisoner-of-conscience or be given or accorded with equivalent (s) status. As SBCHROs’ prisoner-of-conscience, Citizen Nnamdi Kanu will remain under our local, national and global campaign searchlight until he is freed, discharged and acquitted of the ongoing phantom charge of treasonable felony.
Further condemned in strongest term is possible voice of Jacob and hand of Esau in the disagreement that erupted in the legal defense team of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu to the extent that it also contributed in part to denial of bail of the detained prisoner-of-conscience by Hon Justice Tsoho; occasioned by poor bail application and watery argument by one of the defense counsel. The recent open-letter to the EU Parliament written from prison by the detainedPrisoner-of-Conscience; in which he disclosed how he was tortured and maltreated by DSS while in its captivity clearly contradicted the recent account of one of his defense counsel, who said Citizen Kanu was never tortured or maltreated by DSS and that he was even cracking jokes with his captors. Comparing the former with the latter, it is mostly safe to suspect another voice of Jacob and hand of Esau. Though Citizen Nnamdi Kanu’s bail bid was lost, but the most striking part of the last court proceedings was judicial resolution of the authenticity of Citizen Kanu’s defense legal team in his physical presence and under his written authorization. In all these, the Federal Government’s age-long divide-and-rule tactics may most likely be at work.
We are also saddened and shocked by Hon Justice John Tsoho’s reported resort to use of convictable and uncouth choice of words; upon which he based his bail refusal ruling. In over seven reports of journalists particularly judicial reporters perused in the course of our fact finding on the proceedings under reference, the same convictable and uncouth choice of words was reported to be used by the trial Judge. Hon Justice John Tsoho was specifically reported by several media sources as having said the following judgmental words “(Nnamdi) Kanu is a threat to national security, and as a result will not be granted bail”. He reportedly held further that “if released, Kanu may commit the same offence again, and that “there is a probability that he may jump bail because he possesses dual citizenship”. The judge conclusively ruled that Kanu be remanded in prison custody, and ordered an accelerated hearing of the case.
If it is true that the trial judge used such biased and judgmental words on post arraignment bail application ruling; then the Judge has already convicted and found Citizen Nnamdi guilty before trial. It is also against the CJN’s recent assurances given to Intersociety that Kanu’s case will be resolved justly and judiciously. This explains why we held that the mind of the Judge was presidentially abused, biased and corrupted. The Judge was also caught up by the presidentially bullets of hearsay and concocted facts; to the effect that Citizen Nnamdi Kanu sneaked into or entered his mother country improperly.
Our questions are: when has it become an international or national crime for a citizen to bear dual citizenship? If Hon Justice John Tsoho can be so afraid and possibly stampeded presidentially not to grant bail to a political and activist prisoner or detainee bearing mere dual citizenship; is he not aware of the revolution going on in the global judicial systems of States to the extent that many have adopted universal jurisdictions and armed with international arrest and detention warrant licenses? As recently as few years, domestic courts in Belgium, South Africa and Senegal have assumed regional and international jurisdictions and issued and executed international arrest warrants against national, regional and international citizens or nationals accused of crimes against humanity in their respective countries. Today, former Chadian military dictator and butcher; Hissene Habre is in detention in Senegal standing trial for mass murder he committed while in power in the 80s. Is the like of Hon Justice Tsoho not leading Nigerian judiciary or its segment back to the cave?
In all, we urge the new defense legal team of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu not to waste further time in appealing against the referenced judicial bail refusal decision of Hon Justice John Tsoho of the Abuja Federal High Court Three.

No empathy, no remorse, no shame: Buhari globe-trots as Boko Haram unleashes mayhem

Photo of the Day: Buhari globe-trots as Boko Haram unleash mayhem
A day after returning from official visits to Kenya and Ethiopia, President Muhammadu Buhari will be visiting France and the UK. This is happening as Boko Haram has unleashed mayhem on residents of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital which they are battling to take.

According to Femi Adesina, his special adviser on media and publicity, Buhari will first stop at Strasbourg in France before departing for Britain on February 3, where he will address a special session of the European Union Parliament.
Adesina explained that the parliament session would be attended by members of the executive and legislative arms of the union. “The president’s address is expected to focus on terrorism, violent extremism, corruption, Nigeria and Africa’s current security, economic and developmental challenges, as well as the need for greater support from the European Union and advanced nations for their rapid resolution,” Adesina said in a statement.
“President Buhari will also hold talks with the president of the European Parliament, Mr. Martin Schulz and the president of the European Commission, Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker on the same issues before leaving Strasbourg for London to join other world leaders at the Supporting Syria and The Region Conference scheduled to open in the British capital on Thursday, February 4, 2016.
“The president will use the opportunity of his participation in the conference which is being co-hosted by Britain, Germany, Norway, Kuwait and the United Nations to continue his push for more global understanding, collaboration and support for Nigeria and other countries in the frontlines of the war against terrorism who are striving to overcome its very adverse effects on affected populations.

Nigerian Government panics as Biafran Dutch lawyers finally drag Buhari and other to the ICC

Nigerian Government panics as Biafran Dutch lawyers finally drag Buhari and other to the ICC
The Biafran has gathered that there is apprehension among the top echelon of the Nigerian government following the successful lodging of crimes against humanity complaint against General Muhammadu Buhari by lawyers representing the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at the International Criminal Court(ICC)  in The Hague.

The move clearly surprised Buhari and his minders who never believed Biafrans could have pulled through such a feat. Buhari is expected to address the European Parliament next month and this development is causing panic among the presidential circles.
The complaint was lodged on the basis of  the heinous massacre of Biafra protesters across the Eastern part of Nigeria (South-East and South-South) in the wake of the arrest of the Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Goran Sluiter, a lawyer at Dutch human rights legal firm Prakken d’Oliveira, filed the complaint with the International Criminal Court in The Hague on Friday.
According to Sluiter, there has been “an intensification of violence and crimes committed against Biafrans since Mr Buhari became the Nigerian president.”
“Nigeria is already a long time on the agenda of the [ICC] prosecutor and Nigerian courts are not dealing at all with these crimes. The time really has come for the ICC to act,” says Sluiter.
The complaint was filed on behalf of 17 unnamed victims and alleges to set out evidence of crimes against humanity – including torture and murder – committed by Nigerian security forces against pro-Biafran protesters.
More than 50 unarmed, non-violent protesters were gruesomely massacred across the region by security operatives including both army and police with about 200 people detained across the country.

Biafran protesters massacred by the Nigerian Government
Hundreds of thousands of people in southeast Nigeria participated in massive protests in recent months, demanding independence for Biafra. Kanu, the leader of one of the most prominent activist groups—the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)—was arrested by Nigerian security forces in October 2015 on charges of ethnic incitement and sedition. He remains in detention and was refused bail by a federal high court in the capital Abuja on Friday.
Related Stories:
During the demonstrations, the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase had threatened protesters in December to stop their activities or face “the full weight of the law.”
Ndubuisi Osuala, the coordinator of IPOB’s branch in the Netherlands – which he says numbers around 200 official members – says the group wishes to see Kanu released and Buhari prosecuted for overseeing crimes against Biafrans.
“What every IPOB member, every Biafran citizen wants is the release of our great leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who is a freedom fighter,” says Osuala.
“Secondly, we need the International Criminal Court to bring justice and equity to our case…[President Buhari] has to be prosecuted and face the justice for what he did.”
Osuala also says that his group wants independence for Biafra but is seeking it by peaceful means. “We need to get freedom by peace and that is why we are protesting,” he says. “We are not terrorists, we are not killing people.”
Buhari and co on the road to ICC prison
Kanu, who also runs the Radio Biafra was arrested by Nigerian security forces in October, 2015, on charges of ethnic incitement and sedition.
He remains in illegal detention and was refused bail by a federal high court in the capital Abuja as at 29th January when Justice John Tsoho declined his bail application.
Buhari has previously refused calls for Kanu to be released, describing the activist – who is based in the U.K. and runs the underground media outlet Radio Biafra – as a flight risk.
The ICC was not immediately available to confirm that the complaint had been filed. Once a complaint is filed at the ICC, the prosecutor can decide to open an investigation if there is a reasonable basis for believing that crimes against humanity have been committed.
Femi Adesina, a media advisor to Buhari, declined to comment on the ICC case and told Newsweek that while Kanu’s case was ongoing, the Nigerian presidency would rather not comment on the matter.
“Nigeria is already a long time on the agenda of the [ICC] prosecutor and Nigerian courts are not dealing at all with these crimes. The time really has come for the ICC to act,” says Sluiter.
